Inventory Sorter Mod For Minecraft 1.20.2, 1.20.1, 1.19.4, 1.12.2
Inventory Sorter 1.20.2-1.12.2 is a small modification that will allow you to easily press the middle mouse button to quickly and easily sort your items in your inventory. There are many more ways to use blacklists, add entire sections to a blacklist, and add only selected items to that list.

This inventory optimization will be useful if you use technology or magic mods that add more than 1000 new items among which there are normal and useless resources. You can have these in your inventory but Inventory Sorter will not display them.

Updated to version 23.0.0

How to install Inventory Sorter

  1. Download and install Forge
  2. Make sure that you have the “Java” application installed.
  3. Download the “Zip” archive from our website.
  4. Inside this is a “Jar” mod. It can also contain old and new builds.
  5. Select the latest version of the “Jar” file that matches the game version.
  6. Please note that some releases may contain bugs, incompatibilities with other modifications, and in some cases may cause conflicts within Forge or Fabric. You can try installing the previous build to fix this.
  7. Move the “Jar” file to the “Mods” folder.
  8. This folder is located at the following path:

    Mac OS X:
    /Users/Your Profile Name/Library/Application Support/minecraft/
Quick way to get there: Click on the desktop and then press the combination of “Command+Shift+G” keys at the same time.
Type ~/Library and press the “Enter” key.
Open the Application Support folder and then Minecraft

    Windows 11, 10, 8, 7:
    C:\Users\Your Profile Name\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\
Quick way to get there: Press the “Windows” key and the “R” key at the same time.
Type %appdata% and press “Enter” key or click OK.

  9. The “Mods” folder is created automatically when you install Forge or Fabric, but you can always create it manually.
  10. Open the launcher and select the desired modloader.
  11. Launch the game and enjoy the new gameplay.
  12. Ready!

That video is from 2013… and for a different mod than the one downloaded here. This inventory sorter mod does not automatically fill when you use up a stack or break an item.

Why do the instructions say to use forge when it’s a fabric mod? Please release for Forge, or update your instructions.

Crashed the game while it was loading. Removed all the mods, this was the only one on Forge that crashed it.
