Epic Horizon 256x Resource Pack For Minecraft 1.12.2

The Epic Horizon 256x, 512x, 1024x resource pack can be a very cool addition to the vanilla gameplay style. It has all the necessary features to make your game really fun and fantastic. The changes will affect the environment, clouds and blocks generating biomes.

The author tried to add as many micro and macro details as possible to each of the biomes, for example, this will turn ordinary and boring places into something unimaginable and unique. Each time the player explores the biome, these textures will complement the vanilla atmosphere by adding realistic clouds that are not typical of our planet (you will notice new satellites and even a few stars in the sky), and each of the blocks will be improved to HD quality, which guarantees that the adventure will be filled with new gameplay elements.

How to install Epic Horizon

1. Install Optifine HD (Not necessary but desirable)
2. Download the texture pack from the section below.
3. Sometimes the authors create different resolutions, Bedrock (Minecraft PE) or Java versions, so choose the option that you like or that you think your graphics card can handle.
4. Please note that some releases may contain bugs, incompatibilities with shaders and other graphics addons, and in some cases may cause conflicts within Optifine HD. You can try installing a previous build to fix this.

Manual installation:

5. Move the “Zip” file to the “Resourcepacks” folder.
6. This folder is located at the following path:

   Mac OS X:
   /Users/Your Profile Name/Library/Application Support/minecraft/
   Quick way to get there: Click on the desktop and then press the combination of “Command+Shift+G” keys at the same time.
   Type ~/Library and press the “Enter” key.
   Open the Application Support folder and then Minecraft

   Windows 11, 10, 8, 7:
   C:\Users\Your Profile Name\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\
   Quick way to get there: Press the “Windows” key and the “R” key at the same time.
   Type %appdata% and press “Enter” key or click OK.

7. Next, use step 14 to complete the installation.

Quick installation:

8. Launch the game client via the launcher.
9. In the main menu of the game, click “Options” button.
10. In the “Options” menu, select the “Resource Packs” button.
11. Click on the “Open Resource Pack folder” button.
12. Move the downloaded zip file to an open folder.
13. Click the “Done” button.
14. Your pack should have appeared in the left “Available” list, just hover over it and click on the arrow pointing to the right.
15. This will move the pack to the right “Selected” list that displays the used packs or shaders and other addons.
16. Select the desired resolution, desired addons and click the “Done” button again.
17. Now it’s loaded and ready to use in the game world!
