The Parakeet - Creature Tweak Mod Minecraft 1.16.5, 1.16.4
The Parakeet 1.16.5-1.16.4 adds cockatiel and parakeet to different biomes. You can tame them and they will always fly behind you and also sit on the nearest block. Additionally, these birds have different features, for example, they can dance if you turn on music from disks, as well as about 5 animations and modified textures.

To tame a parakeet, use wheat, pumpkin, or beetroot seeds, and for cockatiel, it’s best to use the same ingredients as for a vanilla parrot. New birds like to eat apples, carrots and other fruits. They have about 4-6 health points, but this is enough to avoid accidentally causing a fatal hit. There are about 7 texture options for parakeet and 5 options for cockatiel. You can test this in creative mode using the following scripts:

  • summon parakeetmod:parakeet ~ ~ ~ {Variant: X} – (Where X is options from 0 to 7)
  • summon parakeetmod:cockatiel ~ ~ ~ {Variant: X} – Where X is options from 0 to 5
