Lumberjack - Farming Tool Mod For MC 1.16.5, 1.14.4, 1.12.2
Lumberjack 1.16.5-1.12.2 modification adds new axes with unique features that can destroy a tree by cutting only one block. This will save you time and significantly speed up resource collection.

Long two-handed axes require a little more resources during crafting, but this way the author has tried to balance these tools so that you won’t confuse this with regular vanilla axes. Additionally there is a feature that distinguishes wooden buildings from trees so that you do not destroy your entire house by breaking just one block.

Updated to 2.1.4 version
