Jea Traditional 64x Resource Pack For Minecraft 1.12.2

Jea Traditional is the perfect combination of many popular resource packages that have managed to stand out among other similar packs. By gluing and mixing all the best elements, the author managed to get a special detailed style for the blocks. This is mainly based on the Faithful options which have 4 times as many elements on each side of the blocks, i.e. 64x pixels.

Additionally, a lot of work has been done on reviving the vanilla mobs, for example, they will get facial expressions and more detailed skins. You will also notice many improvements for item icons, wooden blocks, foliage, and other mining-related options. Basically fixed all the major shortcomings of the standard textures, and it turned out quite well.

How to install Jea Traditional

1. Install Optifine HD (Not necessary but desirable)
2. Download the texture pack from the section below.
3. Sometimes the authors create different resolutions, Bedrock (Minecraft PE) or Java versions, so choose the option that you like or that you think your graphics card can handle.
4. Please note that some releases may contain bugs, incompatibilities with shaders and other graphics addons, and in some cases may cause conflicts within Optifine HD. You can try installing a previous build to fix this.

Manual installation:

5. Move the “Zip” file to the “Resourcepacks” folder.
6. This folder is located at the following path:

   Mac OS X:
   /Users/Your Profile Name/Library/Application Support/minecraft/
   Quick way to get there: Click on the desktop and then press the combination of “Command+Shift+G” keys at the same time.
   Type ~/Library and press the “Enter” key.
   Open the Application Support folder and then Minecraft

   Windows 11, 10, 8, 7:
   C:\Users\Your Profile Name\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\
   Quick way to get there: Press the “Windows” key and the “R” key at the same time.
   Type %appdata% and press “Enter” key or click OK.

7. Next, use step 14 to complete the installation.

Quick installation:

8. Launch the game client via the launcher.
9. In the main menu of the game, click “Options” button.
10. In the “Options” menu, select the “Resource Packs” button.
11. Click on the “Open Resource Pack folder” button.
12. Move the downloaded zip file to an open folder.
13. Click the “Done” button.
14. Your pack should have appeared in the left “Available” list, just hover over it and click on the arrow pointing to the right.
15. This will move the pack to the right “Selected” list that displays the used packs or shaders and other addons.
16. Select the desired resolution, desired addons and click the “Done” button again.
17. Now it’s loaded and ready to use in the game world!
