Monsterley 128x Resource Pack with Shaders MC 1.16.5, 1.16.4

The Monsterley 1.16.5-1.16.4 resource pack will delight you with great detail textures and 128x or 32x high quality design. The pack is based on the standard texture pack of the game and improves the appearance of all items with blocks. It has built-in shaders, and you don’t need to use the Optifine HD mod to do this.

Monsterley is a dark medieval-style texture that aims to be the most realistic in this segment. It may seem that every detail has an old design, but now you can see it in more detail because of the high resolution. As you know, Minecraft has a combination of Magic and Medieval styles, and this pack will fit perfectly to replace all the vanilla blocks with more detailed ones.

The author tried to fill each biome with new flower options, random grass textures, add more 3D objects, and it also contains hidden features that are activated when using Optifine. This pack is an excellent build for testing various shaders because this way you can test all the vanilla features of the game but only in higher resolution.

How to install Monsterley

1. Install Optifine HD (Not necessary but desirable)
2. Download the texture pack from the section below.
3. Sometimes the authors create different resolutions, Bedrock (Minecraft PE) or Java versions, so choose the option that you like or that you think your graphics card can handle.
4. Please note that some releases may contain bugs, incompatibilities with shaders and other graphics addons, and in some cases may cause conflicts within Optifine HD. You can try installing a previous build to fix this.

Manual installation:

5. Move the “Zip” file to the “Resourcepacks” folder.
6. This folder is located at the following path:

   Mac OS X:
   /Users/Your Profile Name/Library/Application Support/minecraft/
   Quick way to get there: Click on the desktop and then press the combination of “Command+Shift+G” keys at the same time.
   Type ~/Library and press the “Enter” key.
   Open the Application Support folder and then Minecraft

   Windows 11, 10, 8, 7:
   C:\Users\Your Profile Name\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\
   Quick way to get there: Press the “Windows” key and the “R” key at the same time.
   Type %appdata% and press “Enter” key or click OK.

7. Next, use step 14 to complete the installation.

Quick installation:

8. Launch the game client via the launcher.
9. In the main menu of the game, click “Options” button.
10. In the “Options” menu, select the “Resource Packs” button.
11. Click on the “Open Resource Pack folder” button.
12. Move the downloaded zip file to an open folder.
13. Click the “Done” button.
14. Your pack should have appeared in the left “Available” list, just hover over it and click on the arrow pointing to the right.
15. This will move the pack to the right “Selected” list that displays the used packs or shaders and other addons.
16. Select the desired resolution, desired addons and click the “Done” button again.
17. Now it’s loaded and ready to use in the game world!
